Artist Mark Maher’s ’Trouble’ series comments on today’s manufactured life. To underline the large scale of the photographic prints, the project was published in a small format book.
The vibrant, artificially colored spreads orchestrate the book’s narrative by pacing the photographs and an old psychiatrists’ questionnaire. The red plastic dust jacket plays with opacity and materiality, contributing to the work’s meaning.
The cover design was further developed into exhibition identity.
